The end of paper sign-out books in student dorms

Internát

Student dormitories still track who went out and who came back in a paper book. Internát replaces it: students request a later return in the app, parents confirm by SMS, and staff see everyone's status on one screen. I built it end to end and presented it to the staff and management of a Prague dormitory; it stopped at their budget.

What it does

  • Student app for outings and late returns with limits, and a history.
  • Staff dashboard with the real-time status of every student; parents confirm through an SMS link.
  • Check-in by dorm Wi-Fi, a QR code that changes every ten seconds, or a tap at reception, plus a bridge to existing chip systems.
  • Priced as a subscription per dormitory size, with a full marketing site and demo.
